Connect Student Center began in 2005 in the home of IMB missionaries in the Philippines as a place for students to gather, practice English, receive counseling, talk about life, and hear Bible truths. Within months, several students had placed their faith in Christ, been baptized, and begun sharing the Gospel with friends and family–leading others to salvation. As the ministry grew, Bible studies were held both at the center and on school campuses, eventually leading to the start of Connect Church. This church focuses on helping new believers grow through teaching on a relationship with Christ, repentance, Bible study, prayer, evangelism, obedience to Scripture, submission to God, worship, and generosity. Members are also trained to lead and regularly participated in mission outreaches throughout the year.
