Street Hope TN is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in Tennessee. Their mission is to provide safe environments that foster Hope and healing through Jesus Christ. They achieve this by focusing on four care areas:
- Awareness: Increasing knowledge about child sex trafficking through events, presentations, and educational programs.
- Prevention: Reducing vulnerability by equipping youth and adults with education on sexual exploitation and trafficking prevention through their Project POST curriculum, Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST) Trainings, and Internet Safety Trainings.
- Restoration: Empowering survivors by providing trauma-informed care and a safe place for healing and growth.
- Prayer: Seeking Jesus Christ for guidance and strength in their mission.
Street Hope TN operates Garland Oaks, the first safe home in East Tennessee for girls aged 12-17 who are survivors of domestic minor sex trafficking. The organization also offers various programs and initiatives to raise awareness and provide education on this critical issue.
